We invite you to join us for the most wholesome, empowering & fun week at our Beginner Progressive Surf Retreat in Crescent Head, NSW! This retreat is designed to help beginner surfers gain confidence in the waves so you can head out in a lineup, face your fears & enjoy all that Mother Nature has to offer.
This retreat will be filled with daily surf lessons, video recording, yoga, pilates, workshops, delicious food & loads of connection with like-minded women. Not only will you have learnt to surf or improved your skills you will also walk away feeling nourished, replenished & stoked that you took this time for yourself.

King Room Private with Ensuite - 1 person per room - $3,100pp for King Bed
Twin Room Shared - Shared Bathroom - 2 person room - $2,900pp for your own Queen Bed
SUPER LIMITED AVAILABILITY. This will be a MUCH smaller group than our previous retreats - meaning more 1:1 time to get you confident in the waves.
The Location
Crescent Head has been in the cultural heart of surfing since the 1960's with people from around the globe making this a stop on their East Coast surf pilgrimage.
Famous for its iconic right-hand point break and surrounding beaches, there are waves for every level, in this stunning location.
Surfaris Retreat is between the bush and the beach, on 15 acres of private property you have access to all the activities: Stretch out on the yoga deck, chill by the pool & entertaining areas with a cocktail from the tiki bar, grab a coffee from the cafe or utilise the self-service kitchen.

6:30am - Morning Yoga
7:30am - Coffee and pre-surf snack
8:30am - Surf Lesson with video recording
11:30am - Brunch
12:30pm - Chill Time
3pm - Surf Skill Building Workshop
5pm - Watch Surf Footage
6:30pm - Dinner & Drinks at the Tiki Bar
7:30pm - Surf Film
Check-in/out:
Check-in is open from 3 pm on Sunday 15/12/24 & activities will commence at 4 pm. Check-out will be around 11am on Friday 20/12/24.
Payment Options:
Upon booking, we require a $500 initial deposit for all accommodation options. The complete balance of the booking must be paid by 15/10/24. We will contact you via email to complete the outstanding balance. Please expect emails a few days after the deposit has been paid. If you wish to pay the remaining balance immediately or REQUEST PAYMENT PLAN please email us at groovegirls@outlook.com.
Please note deposits are non-refundable. If you fail to complete the outstanding payment by 15/10/24 we will assume that you are no longer joining us, your spot will be listed back on our website & your deposit will not be refunded.
Travel:
Please note we are not responsible for participants’ travel to and from the retreat. However, we will create an IG Messenger group where participants can find pals to carpool with. Once at the retreat we have a bunch of cars to load up boards and drive together to all the amazing surf spots around Crescent Head.
Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel your trip for a medical reason or emergency we will offer a refund up until 15/10/24 (excluding deposit). Within the 8.5 weeks leading up to the retreat, we will not be able to issue a refund. However, we will accept the your spot being sold to another person during this time. Please inform us of any changes.
We are a small business and cancellations can put us in a very hard place. So from past experience we are being firm on a non-refundable deposit. We strongly advise taking out booking/trip cancellation insurance to protect you from unforeseen circumstances out of your control that may lead to a cancellation and a loss of investment.
